This element deals with
- The trainee knows how to establish a plan for the project
- The trainee knows which methods to select for cybersecurity engineering
- The trainee knows considerations related to development, production, or series maintenance (the entire life cycle needs to be considered).

The trainee knows about how to establish and maintain cybersecurity plans in an Automotive project.
CYBERENG.U1.E3.PC2
The trainee knows the method selection for the different process steps (threat analysis methods, test methods and tools, etc.) and knows how to document this in the plan.

The trainee knows that work products and tasks need to be planned for the entire life cycle, not only development, also production or series maintenance.
